名聞遐邇的美味香脆面包餅乾『Roti Kok』,當初在一九六○年代深受人們喜愛。其名『東卡』乃源自馬來詞語,譯為『棍棒』。於那個年代,麵包多以棍狀呈現,以迎合兒童口味,而成年人則愛將之沾入咖啡、茶、或美祿, 充實早餐或下午茶時間。
經過廣泛研究以追溯此食譜的來源,馬來亚面包廠欣然重新引入了『Roti Kok』的傳奇風味,勾起許多人童年美好回憶。
The renowned and delicious biscotti known as “Roti Kok” was beloved by many back in the 1960s. Its name “Tongkat” comes from the Malay word for “stick.” During that era, bread was often shaped like sticks to cater to children’s tastes, while adults enjoyed dipping it into coffee, tea, or Milo, enhancing their breakfast or afternoon tea experience.
After extensive research to trace the origins of this recipe, Malaya Bread Factory is pleased to reintroduce the legendary flavor of “Roti Kok,” evoking fond childhood memories for many.
